GERMAN MESS PLATE NAVAL INCIDENT RECALLED. (A. & N.Z.) SYDNEY, April 20. A large part of the mess plate of the German cruisers Scharnhorst and Leipsic, which was in the possession of the Customs Department for several years, is being returned to the German Government by the Federal Government as an act of grace.
