Joseph Henry Pike, clerk to Messrs Scott and Menzies, auctioneers, charged with theft from tho firm, involving £767 3s 4d was committed to-day to the Supreme Court for trial. The alleged thefts ■were between November 11, 1926, and January 27, 1928. He was a cashier. Bail was allowed in one surety of £3OO, with one similar or two of £l5O each.
