The Cairo correspondent of the Daily Telegraph stresses the view that Egypt is nearing a grave crisis. Nahas Pasha’s latest statement made to n German journalist is the boldest yet. He declared that the Egyptian Government did not recognise the declaration of February 1922, because Egypt was never part of the British Empire.
