LICENSING LEGISLATION Rarely has any question aroused so much public interest at the Licensing Amendment Bill of 1927 and the address to be delivered by Mr C. R. Edmond, General Secretary of the Now Zealand /Alliance dealing with the relationship of this question to the present political situation will be of interest. Mr Edmond will be supported by the Rev. J. R. Blanchard, 8.A., minister of St. John’s Presbyterian Church, Wellington, one of the ablest public speakers in the Dominion.
