DAYLIGHT SAVING HAWKE'S BAY FARMERS' RESOLUTION [ Per Press Association. 1 WELLINGTON, March 30. A representative meeting of the provincial executive of the »Southern Hawke’s Bay Farmers’ Union reversed its previous decisions respecting daylight saving by carrying unanimously a resolution; “That the abomination of daylight saving should cease.” Speakers considered that Sidey time was detrimental to rural communities. The meeting decided to urge the Dominion executive to do all possible to get cheaper manures for farmers, also to endea.our to arrange for a supply of seed at the cheapest rate and if possible direct from the growers. Representatives are to be made to endeavour to have the land tax made payable in February, Aiiuultancously with income tax.
