A Press Association telegram states that Dr Joseph Patrick Hennessy was charged at the Wellington Magistrate’s Court yesterday with having unlawfully used an instrument. He was remanded till April in bail of £250. A boy, aged five years, fell into a hot water drain, yesterday, reports a telegram from Rotorua. No person witnessed the occurrence. The boy was walking about afterwards, and was taken home, dying this morning as the result of severe scalds. At the Dunedin Police Court.
