SPORTS AT MARTON SUCCESSFUL EVENING MEETING. [ Special M Chronicle ” Service ] The final sports meeting for the Rose Bowl competition was held in Marton Park last evening and proved the most successful yet held. The Rose Bowl was won by R. Bland with ISA points. M. Gould being runner-up, with .11, and N. Carneross third with 12.
The Hunterville Pipe Band was in attendance and enlivened the evening with several selections. At the con-
clusion of the events the trophies were presented to the winners by Mr J. D. Gorrie, after which the pipers were the guests of the Athletic Club at supper.
