THE SEARCH FOE UNITY ANGLICANS’ RIGID CONSTITUTION (A. & N.Z.) SYDNEY, March 29. Mr Justice Harvey, a prominent Anglican, presiding at a meeting of representatives of the Anglican I’rcsl.yterian, and Alethodist Churches, called to discuss the question of reunion .deebue.d that there wi. no question whatever that the consitution recently adopted by the Anglican Synod was ( the most cast-iron rigid constitution any Anglican community had decided to adopt.
If that church was going to unite with other churches, one of two things must happen —cither the Anglican constitution must be altered, or the other churches must accept it as it was, rahcr than risk a complete breakdown.
