THREE CHANGES LORD CAVE'S RESIGNATION. (A.P.A.-Sun). LONDON, March 28 It is officially announced that the Attorney-General, Sir Douglas Hogg, becomes Lord Chancellor, in succession to Lord Cave, who has resigned owing to ill-health.
Sir Douglas Hogg, who receives a barony, is succeeded as Attorney-Gen-eral by Lord Inskip, who in turn is succeeded by a Commoner, Mr Frank Merriman. Mr receives a knighthood and Lord Cave receives an earldom.
