AMUSEMENTS AND MEETINGS
SEW GRAND THEATRE Another highly successful all-round bill oi entertaining pictures was presented in the new Grand Theatre last night to a large audience, “Dancing Mad” William Fox’s special attraction produced at his Berlin studios and played, by the foremost continental actors and actresses, is headed by the famous European stage star Maria Corda. The picture caught on from the start and held the large audience with its wonderful acting. It is undoubtedly tho best dressed, picture seen on the screen for months. Expense has not been considered by the producers and the fair sex arc more than well catered for in this direction. The story deals with the dancing craze and how it affects the civilised world. Here we have a picture out of the ondiinary, the plot handled by a master director made into a pleasant, merry and diverting play. While not a problem play it carries a forceful lesson which will be sure to cause comment as the position sinks in. To tell any more would only spoil a good story. Don’t miss seeing “Dancing Mad” to-day, to-night, or to-morrow. Its one hundred per cent, entertainment value. The supporting variety, comedy and Fox News are excellent. Plans for reserves are open daily at theatre office.
