MARTON SALE The New Zealand Farmers’ Co-op. Distributing Co. Ltd., report as follows:—On Monday we had a gocid yarding of 1700 sheep and* 200 head or cattle. There was a good attendance of buyers and although bidding was inclined to drag we solid all the sheep and all the cattle except one pen. The Associated Auctioneers held their fortnightly stock sale at Taihape yesterday, w’hen a large entry of sheep (chiefly ewes and lambs) and a small yarding of cattle was offered to a large attendance of buyers. Bidding was brisk and most of the lines submitted were sold at satisfactory prices. One pen of ewe lambs brought 23s 7d, while a pen of 2-tooth ewes realised 30s.
