THE WEATHER. Indications are for winds, mainly south west to south east and later backing easterly, moderate to strong at first but decreasing with seas rather rough in Cook Strait and south of Castlecliff; elsewhere, moderate south west to south east winds and moderate seas in the eastern half of the Tasman Sea.
