EXECUTIVE MEETS ANNUAL CONFERENCE SOON Alatters of moment to the farming community were dealt with yesterday at the monthly meeting of the Wanganui Provincial Executive of. the Farmers’ Union. There were present Alessrs T. Currie (chairman), A. L. Elmslica D. AlcGregor, T. Allison. C. 11. Walter, W. G. Belton, W. Howie, F. Handley, D. Blyth, W. Alorrison. A. McLeod, W. Stevenson, C. A. Aiken, Gregor AlcGregor (Waverley). The chairman reported a revival of the Afakirikiri branch of the Union. Representatives of the executive had attended a meeting at which Air C. H. Walker had been elected president and Air Ij. Anderson secretary. "It is quite a strong branch," commented the chairman.
It was mentioned that the annual provincial conference would be held cither at Alarton or Feilding. Afembers would have an opportunity of examining the balance sheet at the next executive meeting.
