A SYDNEY BOUT PAUL BEATS PRINGLE. (A. & N.Z.) SYDNEY, March 28. At the Leichhardt Stadium, Paul (10.3) knocked out Pringle (10.5), in the fourth of a twelve-round contest. The New Zealander forced the fighting from the commencement, severely punishing Pringle and almost knocking him out with a right to the jaw in the third round, the bell saving the Welshman. Heavy rights to the head dropped Pringle early in the fourth, whereupon the referee interfered and crowned Paul.
