AMERICAN ATTITUDE NEWSPAPERS ATTACK BRITISH LIMITATION PROPOSALS. Received March. 28, 11 p.m. (A. & N.Z.) WASHINGTON, Mar. 28. The House of Representatives passed the Naval Appropriation Bill. Various minor amendments dealing with dirigibles wore defeated. A bitter denunciation of the latest British naval disarmament proposals is appearing in the Washington newspapers.
The Star calls them “Britain’s latest naval lullaby,” while the Post says: “Permanent superiority in battleships is the aim of the British proposal.” Both newspapers support the Administration, and are generally considered aj reflecting the Go\ eminent viewpoint.
