VALUABLE WORK CONFERENCE OPENS. [ Per Pi ess Association. ] CHRISTCHURCH, Ala reh 28. The Dominion Conference of die Y.AI.C.A.| has opened, Air H. K. Wilkinson presiding over an attendance of 40 delegates, who were welcomed by the Maye , Air J. K. Archer. The latter said that the work of the Y.ALC.A. was of incalculable value, and it had a fine type of men as leaders. He hoped that the Association would never be dominated by any section, though unfortunately like the churches, it lac 1 ?d money, and it had to keep sweet with men who had money but were not progressive.
