The I contests included the 1927-28 Club Championship Match. I The preliminary six bird match, nine ! competitors, each shoo!er nominating ; his own mark, found C« Kempton most accurate, securing all his clays will] first barrel breaks. Ruscoc, Dunlop, Dixon and R. E. Cuthbertson all tieing for second place, but in shooting otf 18yd.’- first barrel break only, A. Ruscoe secured the pcsition with his first extra bird. Au eight bird event off 15yds., wild nine coJqpet’.tGTS, saw Kempton again deadly with eight first barrels, whuJ Burgess and Ruscoe, witli seven io their credit, fired three extra to decide, the latter winning with the third bird.
