THE WEATHER. Indications arc for north to west winds, north of Westport and Akaroa, southwesterly thence southward, and gradually extending to other districts; winds moderate to fresh north of Cape Egmont, and Castlepoint and strong to ‘gale later. The -weather will be unsettled and squally, with some rain, but I only scattered, north of New Plymouth land Napier, with cool temperatures.
