Pope Complains of Suppression of Boy Scouts

(By Telegraph—Per Pre«s Ccpj.’igp:.j Received Alarch 28, 2 a.m. (A- & N.Z.) ROME, March 27. The Pope, addressing the Diocesan Board, criticised members of the Catholic Centre Party who openly supported the Fascists during the recent Congress.
His Holiness’ remarks are generally interpreted as meaning f hat the Vatican and the Fascist Government are not so nca r a satisfactory settlement us was thought. The Pope admitted that Fascismo had done a great deal for the Catholic Church, but claimed that the church still had many reasons for complaint, mentioning specifically Fascismo’a claim to a monopoly in the education of Italy’s youth, this being a patient reference to the suppression of the Catholic Boy Scout movement-
