A motor car collided with a bicycle in the Avenue last night at about livii minutes past nine. The back wheel of the bicycle was damaged and the boy riding it .shaken, but otherwise no damage was done.

The unemployed situation in Wanganui has taken a turn for the better in the past few weeks. The week before last the total was 49 and the week previous 56, but this week the total was reduced to 39.

His condition was not serious.
