LISTENERS! Record Your Votes In “CHRONICLE’S” Radio Plebiscite FOR the purpose of ascertaining the type of broadcast programmes that will have the greatest appeal to the largest number of listeners to the concerts provided by Station 2YA, the “CHRONICLE” has initiated this plebiscite. As will be seen from the conditions, anyone who listens-in to 2YA may record his or her vote, but only one vote is allowed each listener. Progress reports will be published, and it is hoped to obtain the opinions of a majority of those who jisten-in. In regard to “Church Services” voters should indicate their preference either for services from their own church or a rotation of services from all churches; in this last event, listeners should vote for “Church ServicesVaried.” CONDITIONS: The conditions of the plebiscite will be as follows: 1. —Votes must be recorded on the form printed below, and the full name and address of the voter, written legibly, must be applied. 2.—The plebiscite is based on a preferential voting system, and no person may vote more than once. The plebiscite will not be limited to the holders of wireless licenses, and every person in a home where a receiver » in use may vote. 3. Voters must place the Jgure l, i ff jp tbo left-hand square opposite the item which they most prefer, the figure “2” opposite their second choice, the figure “3” opposite their third choice, and so on. 4.—A number must be placed opposite every item, otherwise the vote will not be counted. s—The votes given to each item will be allotted in order to ascertain the order of preference. 6. —Ballot-papers should be addressed to “DETECTOR,” Radio Editor, the “Chronicle,” Wanganui. 7.—The type of receiver should be indicated at the foot of voting form.
