As compared with last week’s quotations, ’Down lamb and ordinary lamb is l-8d per 3b. lower; best North Island and second quality is £d per lb. lower; light wethers are 3<l per lb. lower; and heavy wethers and ewes are l-8d per lb. lower. Beef is l-8d per lb. lower. The market for .lamb shows y, weakening tendency, particularly for heavy weights. The demand for mutton is pour.
