FEELING IN THE SENATE FURTHER DISCUSSION ON HOUSE NAVAL BILL. Received March 25, 1.1.20 p.ru. (A. & N.Z.) NEW YORK, Mar.h 24. Senator Hale, chairman of tho senate Naval Committee, and Senator Oddie, ranking as Republican members thereof, conferred with Mr Coolidge to-day on the Naval Bill.

Mr Hale declined to say what the attitude of the Senate would be toward the House Bill, but Mr Oddie stated that the Senate appeared to be in favour of more cruisers and additional aeroplanes, and for that reason he thought the provisions of the Bill would be increased. The Democrat? and Independent Republicans in the Senate arc reported to favour the House Bill.
