DIFFICULT TASK ON SPEEDING BOAT

BEBE DANIELS IN “FEEL MY PULSE.” One of the most difficult scenes photographed for motion pictures was obtained during the making of “Feel Aly Pulse,” Bebc Daniels’ latest starring vehicle for Paramount, recently completed at the Hollywood studio.

It consists of several “shots” of the star in a .speedboat that is moving through the water at a rate of 40 miles per hour. This speed, combined with a heavy sea, was responsible for the trouble.

At first it was found impossible to hold a camera on the acene of act i -hi, but this was finally overcome by

mounting it on a bed of springs, them selves held in place by the “three point suspension” principal. Gregory La Cava directed “Feel My Pulse” and Richard Arlen and William Powell arc featured in the cast.
