Senator Walsh called a special meeting of the Senate Teapot Dome Com mitteo upon receipt uf a dispatch from El Paso (Texas) that Mr Fall announced that he was ready to tell the whole of the Teapot Dome story when the doctors informed him that ho had only six or seven months more to live. Senator Walsh said that the subcommittee would probably be immediately authorised to go to Toxas and take Fall’s testimony. Fall said: “I have never been- a liar, but I have never been in a. position yet where I could go on the stand and tell the whole story, every word of it. I want the public ‘o know my story.” A latier message states th it Senator Walsh and the chairman (Senator Nye) are going to El Paso on behalf of the Teapot Dome Committee, to hear Fall’s storv.
