Two races were held on the Recreation Grounds under the auspices of the Taihape Amateur Cycling Club on Wednesday afternoon. G. J. Flight acted as starter and judge. Results are as follows: 2£ Aliles Handicap.- Ward (30 yds) I. Anderson (scr. > 2, Treadwell (10 yds.) 3. \ery close finish. Also started: Benfell, 40yds, Boyd 60, Middle 60, Williams 75, Lett 75. ! One Alile Handicap. Anderson I (scr.) 1, W'ard (50yds.) 2. Boyd (.120- ! yds.) 3. A very close finish.
