Things arc now much quieter at the Sandfly Hotel, but the landlord, Jabez Smacks, still maintains that Chester Mopps, the taxi-driver, must have been twins, because one man couldn’t bo all that silly. Air However Gust, of Phordcarr Park, is expected to be present on the occasion of his marriage to Lady Shelia Bnee on Thursday next. He is justly proud of the fact that one of his great uncles fell at Waterloo and another at Gonville Junction. Constable Catchcm says he doesn’t want any recriminations in the suburb, but if he was a chicken in a hen roost and Warn Moots were in the vicinity he would roost jolly high out of reach.
