THE WEATHER. Indications are for moderate north erly winds prevailing north of New Plymouth and Napier, and freshening north to west winds thence southwards, becoming strong at times m Cook and Foureaux Straits. The sea will be rough in Fouveaux Strait a nr! later in Cook Strait. The weather will be cloudy in South Otago and parts or :Westland, with some scattered showier* ext eliding possibly to parts of the East Coast, south of Castlepoint, (otherwise fair to fine with warm temipcraturcs.
