Bookings for holiday traffic over the Christmas and New Year season are already extensive. At the Wanganui Government Tourist Bureau reservations for tours during the festive season total 200, the majority being for parties of travellers who will be journeying by rail and steamer. In addition to these there will be considerable business done in straightout holiday excursion bookings, which will commence about the middle of this month.
