HINKLER AND MCINTOSH WILL RETURN TO LONDON WHEN REPAIRS ARE MADE. (A. & N.Z.) LONDON, Nov. 21. Hinkler and Mclntosh have decided to fly to London upon the completion of repairs to the damages! wing tip and propeller. They emphasise that the engine was perfect throughout, and state; “We are naturally most disappointed. Our only eonsolation is that up to the time we reached the Caspian Sea we travelled at the remarkable speed of 110 miles an hour. We thought we knew something about weather, but what w’e encountered was beyond belief.”
