FIGHT WITH POLICE
SYDNEY UNEMPLOYED ATTEMPT TO BUSH PREMIER’S OFFICE Received Nov. 14, 8 p.m. (A. & N.Z.) SYDNEY, Nov. 14. A further unemployed demonstration occurred to-day. About 200 marched to the Premier’s office, where they demanded an interview with Mr Bavin, but in vain.
The police refused to allow more than one man to enter, and the men then made a rush and attempted to force their way in, but after a struggle the police succeeded in dispersing the demonstrators.
