GREYLIFFE DISASTER
PORTION OF FERRY RAISED TWENTY-EIGHT DEAD, SEVENTEEN MISSING. Received Nov. 8, 11.50 p.m. (A. & N.Z.) SYDNEY. Nov. 8. A section of the Greycliffe was beached to-day, but no further bodies were discovered. Efforts are being made to raise the remaining portions of the vessel. Since the disaster. 26 bodies have been recovered. Two people died in hospital, making the total of known deaths 28. Seventeen people arc known to be missing.
