DISTURBED DIGNITY
UPROAR IN PARLIAMENT UNEMPLOYED AND WOMEN MAKE A SCENE Received. Nov. 8, 11.20 p.m. (A. & N.Z.) SYDNEY, Nov. 8. There was a extraordinary scene in Parliament. When the Assembly met. a group of unemployed shouted from the gallery asking for work and proceedings were held up while police remo- c-d them. The scene led to a heated debate in the Chamber, during which a number of women interjected from the ladies’ gallery- A general uproar followed and interjectors were removed by the Ser geant at Arms. Apparently it was an organised? disturbance.
