THE GLASS OF YORK MINSTER The glass in the 109 windows of York Minster, England, is being removed aiti washed, polished and reset. The wo/< is expected to take 10 years and cost £6OOO a year. The glass, which is considered the flnest in the world, wan glazed nearly 10 centuries ago. It is said to be worth many hundreds of thousands of pounds.
