USE “SAVOL” BEFORE SERVICE TO PREVENT ABORTION AND STERILITY A Cure and Prevention The next two months is probably the most important period for the New Zealand dairy farmer. During this time he is laying the foundation for next season’s success. On the question whether his cows will hold t.o service depends entirely next year’a output, and success or failure is determined by this fact. The care and treatment due to the cow at calving time and the guarding against the ravaging effect of that dread disease, contagious abortion, by the judicious use of the only scientific preparation that has proved itself a cure as well as a preventative —” Savol ” —has already been given full publicity. Of equal, if not greater importance is the use of this reliable remedy during the next few weeks. The treatment of each cow with ” Savol ” before service has become a recognised practice with many dairy farmers throughout the Dominion. Cows that have been non-breeders for two seasons or more; others that aborted the previous season or experienced serious calving difficulties; heifers that caused trouble month after month; ” Savol ” proved equally effective in every instance. ” Savol ” is not an ordinary disinfectant. It is acknowledged by scientists in chemistry as the best and most effective specific for the irrigation of the reproductive organs, a gentle, nonirritating, cleansing fluid, which, without interfering with the process of nature, sterilises and heals, at the same time being a powerful blood absorbent and thus adding greatly to its curative value. It is during the next few weeks that Savol ” is of the utmost importance to dairy farmers. At a small expense with a minimum of labour and without the need of expert knowledge, the means are brought within the reach of every dairy producer to make sure of a full and clean milking herd for next year by the simple use of this reliable remedy at this particular period of the season. Please note that the N.Z. Loan and Mercantile Agency Co. Ltd. are the local agents for this preparation.
