CLEAR RECEPTION
MR AMERY’S SPEECH BROADCAST FROM FIVE STATIONS At Canberra on Thursday night, a speech on general politics and Empire affairs was delivered by Mr. L. C. At. S. Amery, British Secretary of State for tho Dominions. Air. Amery’s speech was broadcast from five stations—2BL, 2FC, 3LO, 4QG. and 3AR. Wanganui listeners-in heard Mr. Amery’s message, and report particularly clear reception. Reception from five overseas stations simultaneously of ,the same subject is stated to be unusual.
