COMING WOOL SEASON
DOMINION SALES COMMITTEE ANNOUNCES ALLOCATIONS. (P«r Press Association.) WELLINGTON, Nov. 3. The New Zealand Wool Committee to-day allocated the quantities of wool to be offered at the various wool selling centres throughout the Dominion during the forthcoming season as follows: December 5. Wellington, 27,000 bales. Dee. 9.—Napier, 22,000 bales of Hawke’s Bay wool and 5000 bales of Gisborne wool. Dec. 15. —Timaru, no limit. Dec. 19.—Dunedin, no limit. January 5 and 6.—Christchurch, 27,000 bales. January ’ 11 and 12. Wellington, 27,000 bales. January 16 and 17.—Napier, 22,000 bales of Hawke’s Bay wool and 8000 bales of Gisborne wool January 20.—Wanganui, 25,000 bales. January 27.—Invercargill, 23,000’ bales. Jan. 31 and Feb. I.—Dunedin, 26,000 bales. Feb. 3 and 4.—Timaru, 20,000 bales. Feb. 8 and 9.—Christchurch, 20,000 bales. Feb 16 and 17. —Wellington, 27,000 bales.
Feb. 20 and 21. —Auckland, 23,000 bales.
Feb. 27 and 28.—Napier, 20,000 bales of Hawke’s Bay wool and 6000 bales of Gisborne wools.
As in previous years, the committee is not fixing any maximum on the quantity which may be offered at the various sales to bo held in” the months of November and March. •
