BUTTER AND CHEESE
THE LONDON MARKETS The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Company, Limited, have received the following advice from their London office, dated November 2: New Zealand butter 170 s to 1725, cheese, 102 s to 103 s. BUTTER PRICE DOWN IN VANCOUVER (A. & N.Z.) VANCOUVER, Nov. 2. Butter has dropped two cents a pound. The new prices are 40 to 42 cents to retailers, according to grade.
The decline is attributed to the heavy supplies of Alberta butter competing with New Zealand butter.
