A CENTURY, NOT OUT
BIRTHDAY GREETINGS AN OPOTEKI CENTENARIAN. [ Special “ Chronicle ” Service. ] AUCKLAND, Nov. 3. Mrs Mortha Reece, of Opotiki, celebrated her 100th birthday to-day, when a constant stream of visitors called. Mrs Reece, although feeling a little tired, received all the visitors and acknowledged their good wishes. She was presented with an early Victorian posy and a birthday cake, and there were innumerable other gifts. Among the visitors was Dr. Reid, who is 94 years of age, but enjoys splendid health.
