(EXPORT FIGURES ■ DAIRY PRODUCE FOR OCTOBER With three week’s dry spell early last month, it was thought that the quantity of dairy produce passing through the grading stores at Castlecliff, would show a decrease when compared with the corresponding month of the previous year, but the result has proved contrary to expectations. The figures are as follow: — Butter—October, 1927, 18,851 boxes; October, 1926, 18,699 boxes, an increase of 152 boxes or .82 per cent. Cheese. —October, 1927, 7,611 crates; October, 1926, 6,003 crates, an increase of 1608 crates or 26.78 per cent. Converting both to a butterfat ratio, the totals are 1,437,2651bs for October, 1927, and 1,325,145 for October, 1926, an increase of 112,1201b5, or 8.46 per cent.
