SOCIAL EVENTS I ( Spe*:-!*.' ’• Chronicle ” Setrie*. ? The Kaitoke Social Club held another of its popular dances last Thursday evening. The hall was decorated with coloured streamers and with thc pretty frocks of tho ladies, presented quite <» bright appearnnvo. Mr Norman David son acted as AI.C. The floor was in excellent order and the music supplied by Miss New rick. Aliss Hughes-Johnson, and -Mr New rick left nothing to be desired. Extras were played by Aliss Wilson and Mr Len Denman. An excellent supper was provided during the evening, after which lhe dancing was resumed and kept up till mid-night. The promoters of lhe dance are to be congratulated on the very pleasant evening that rewarded their efforts. j’l.e Kaitoke School and social com inittees. combined, are arranging amuse ment and competitions for tho social and dance to be held on Thursday Aovembef 3, to raise funds for school prizes and the picnic. Every effort is being made to make the evening a great success.
