FEILDING SALE. Dalgety and Co. Ltd. (Palmerston North) report having a good yarding of fat sheep and a small entry of stores at the Feilding Salo on Friday. There was also a large entry of dairy cattle and a small entry of fat and store cattle yarded, good dairy heifers and cows at the drop meeting with keen demand. Quotations: Fat hoggets 21s sd, 225, 245, 265; fat wethers, 355, 36s Id; fat ewes 27s Id, 27s 7d, 28s 9d, 29s Id, 30s 7d, 30s 8d to 31s; forward ewes 18s 6d to 20s 9d; wether hoggets 21s 3d; mixed hoggets 24s 3d, Dairy heifers, £ss 5s to £6 10s; cows at drop, £7, £B-10s, £9 to £ll 10s; store cows, £2 5s to £2 10s; forward cows £3 5s to £3 12s 6d; light fat cows, £6 to £6 ss; prime fat cows, £8 Is. Abraham and Williams report: At Feilding on Friday there was a fair entry of all classes of stock. The fat sheep pens were well filled and the store sheep entry consisted mostly of aged ewes in lamb and hoggets. Dairy stock, sold well. We quote:—Sheep: Fat wethers, 30s 3d, 32s 6d, 32s lOd, 35s 6d, 365; fat ewes, 265, 28s 7d, 295, 31s to 355; fat hoggets 19s 9d, 20s 7d, 21s 6d, 23s Bd, 23s 9d, 24s 2d, 25s 9d to 275; ewe hoggets, 23s 10d, wether hoggets, 20s Id, 20s sd; mixed hoggets 12s lid, 14s 4d, 20s 9d; b.f. hoggets, 12s 3d, 18s |d; ewes and lambs, 225; 5-year ewes in lamb to S.D. and Shropshire rams, 13s, 16s 7d to 20s Bd. Cattle: Fat cows, £5; yearling heifers, £2 7s 6d, to £3 10s, weaner heifers, 25s to £2 8s; dairy cows close to calving, £5, £5 ss, £6, £6 2s 6d to £l3; springing heifers, £4 ss, £4 15s, £5, £5 15s, £6 to £7 ss; heifers in milk, £4 2s 6d. CLEARING SALE AT BULLS Dalgety and Co., Ltd., (Palmerston North) report having held a very successful clearing sale on account of Mr A. W. Blanchard (Bulls), on Thursday. r Competition was keen throughout and the following are quotations:—Late calving cows, £4 10s, £5, £5 15s, £6, £7, £7 ss, £8 to £8 10s; others, £9, £9 ss, £lO, £lO ss, £lO 15s, £ll, £ll 10s, £l2, £l3, £l3 15s to £l5 ss.
