Sir. —I wish to thank yon for the publication of my letter of last week, re the standard of hockey in Wanganui. We all know the decisions of refereet are always correct, so I wish to humbly apoligise to the referee in question for iny mistakes. With reference to the “barracking,” I heard a little, but I thought it very tame compared to other towns. A.H. Johnsonville, June 17.
