NEW ZEALAND BISHOP
DIOCESE IN POLYNESIA VISIT TO EASTERN PACIFIC [ Special “ Chronicle ” Service. ] AUCKLAND, June 14. Th© Right Rev. L. S. Kcmpthorne, Anglican Bishop in Polynesia, arrived at Auckland from Suva by the Tofua today and immediately transhipped to H.M.S Diomede, which loft shortly afterwards for the South Sea Islands. * The Bishop is paying his annual visit to the outlying portions of his diocese in the Eastern Pacific and expects to pass through Auckland on his return to Fiji in August. The Bishop is a New Zealander, hav[ing been born at Nelson in 1886.
