CLEARING SALE. Dalgety and Company Ltd., report: A very successful clearing sale of dairy stock, etc., on account of Mrs. M. A. McCool, Ashhurst, on Tuesday last. There was a large attendance of buyers of buyers and the following prices were realised: —Best cows £7 10s, £8 to £8 10s, £9 to £9 10s; late ealvers £5, £6 to £6 15s; empty cows, £2, £2 ss, £2 10s, Jersey cross heifers, r.w.b., £4 ss; weaners 22s 6d; sows, £3 15s to £4 ss; slips. 15s; 65-gal. Alfa Laval separator, £l4 10s; spring dray £7, dogcart £6. SALE AT ASHHUBST. Dalgety and Co. report a very successful dairy sale on account of Mr. W. Bremer, Bunnythorpe, on Thursday last. The cows came forward in very good condition and competition was keen. Quotations were: Late ealvers and three-quarter cows, £3 10s, £4 10s, £4 15s, £5 ss, £5 15s, £6, £6 15s; August ealvers, £7, £7 10s to £8 10s; early ealvers £lO, £lO ss, £ll ss, £l2 ,5s to £l2 15s; store cows £1 5s to £2 15s. The complete herd averaged £8 Is. FEILDING SALE. Dalgety and Co. report a very fair yarding st sheep cattle at the Feilding sale on Friday. There was good competition throughout and prac-' tically a total clearance effected, ewes |in lamb to Southdown rams meeting I with particularly keen competition.
