FEILDING SALE. Dalgety and Co., Ltd., i eport having a fair yarding of both sheep and cattle at the Fcilding sale on Friday. There was a fair demand for all classes of sheep and a total clearance was effected. Quotations —Fat ewes, 14s, 14s 7d, to 'l6s 8d; fat wethers, to 24s 7d; f. and r. ewes, 12s 9d to 12s; cull ewes, 8s; 5year ewes, r.w. S.D. rams. 19s 4d; failing mouth ewes, r|.w. Romney rams, 12s 8d; m.s. lambs, 13s lOd; shorn wether lambs, 13s to 14s 9d; b.f. lambs, 15s. Forward cows, £2 5s to £3 7s 6d; 5year rough bullocks, £5 5s to £5 12s 6d; rough 2|-year steers, £3 10s; 3year P.A. heifers (empty), £3 15s; empty Hereford cows, £3 12s; P.A. cows and calves, £3 8s; fat heifers, £4 10s to £4 19s; vcalers, 365. Levin and Co. report: —At Feilding on Friday we had a small entry of sheep and a fair one of cattle. Fat sheep were in good demand and sold freely. Bidding on stojes was not animated, and if. was difficult io effect sales at auction on many pens. The cattle which comprised chiefly odd lots .of empty cows and heifers, sold at late rates. Prices were:—Good fat b.f. 2-tooths, 26s Id; fat ewes, 14s 9d, 15s 4d, 15s 9d, to 15s lid; fat wethers ,25s ,3d; fat lambs, 15s 5d to 17s 6d; Romney lambs, 14s sd; f. and f. small b.f. lambs, 15s 6d; good springing Jersey heifers, £7 10s; S.H .springing heifers, £4 15s to £G; aged cows in milk, £2; store cows, £2 6s to £2 17s 6d; empty S.H. cows, £3 4s; fat S.H. cows, £4 18s to £6 2s 6d; fat Jersey cows, £3; light fat steers, £7; P.A. bulls, £5. STUD JERSEYS SOLD. Messrs Abraham and Williams, Ltd., in conjunction with Messrs Wright, Stephenson and Co., Ltd., report holding a very successful stud Jersey sale on account of the Misses Kilgour, Mr Hugh Hall and Mr R. Prentice. The stock was yarded in good condition, and there was a large attendance of buyers. The top price of the sale was 125 gns., on account of the Misses Kilgour for Holly Oak Primulet.
