EX-SOLDIERS’ COMPLAINTS DEPUTATION TO MB COATES [Per Press Association.] AUCKLAND, May 21. Replying to a deputation representing ex soldier amputees who objected to the standardisation of artificial limbs, the Rt. Hon. J. G. Coates (Prime Minister) said it would be very ex pensive to keep a lot of spare parts. He would bo very glad to discuss the matter with the Minister of Defence and place the deputation’s representations before him. That would be iu*one before any contract for a supply of limbs was let. Ho had heard similar statements all over the country and knew they were all sincere.
