COMPULSORY VOTING
NEXT GENERAL ELECTIONS PROPOSAL NOT FAVOURED (A. & N.Z.) LONDON, May 19. Mr Stanley Baldwin informed Colonel Moore in the House of Commons that he was not prepared, to introduce legislation for compulsory voting at the next general election, in view of the recent decision extending the franchiseto all women of 21 and over.
