BROKEN TIES
A WARTIME BRIDE DIVORCE FOLLOWS SEPARATION At yesterday's sitting of the Supreme Court in Wanganui Pcrcivar S. White made application for dissolution of his marriage with Nellie B. White. Petitioner, giving evidence, said that ho served. with his Majesty’s forces in the war and while in England met Nellie Fookes, whom he married j n London in September 1917. There was one child by the marriage and conditions wero quite satisfactory until the parties came to New Zealand, where the wife was dissatisfied with living conditions. They then agreed to '"p*r ate, and the wife later sold the house in which she had resided and went back to England. The parties had not seen each other since then.
The judgment of the Court was that, a decree nisi be moved avsolutb after three months.
