WEATHER FORECAST. Present indications are for westerly winds, strong to gale, north cf New Plymouth and Napier, and north-west-erlies, backing to south-westerlies shortly elsewhere. The weather will be unsettled and boisterous, especially in and southward of Cook Strait, with rain generally, and heavy rain and rivers rising in the West Coast districts. The barometer is falling but will rise shortly in the south.
